Quinta Kimoyoyo is a complete transformation of a family estate in the Algarve, where four separate houses were thoughtfully reimagined into one cohesive home. The project involved a full reconfiguration of the interior architecture, creating a natural flow between spaces while preserving the soul and character of the property.
Every detail was carefully considered, from the design of the windows, doors, exterior façades, furniture and lighting, to the outdoor entertaining areas that now frame the lifestyle of the home. The result is a warm and timeless retreat that feels both refined and deeply personal.
A defining aspect of this project was the integration of inherited pieces and collected objects with history and meaning. Furniture and artworks that had already lived a lifetime were given a new place within the home, bringing depth, authenticity and a sense of continuity between generations.
Our studio managed every phase of the project from concept to completion, including spatial planning, detailed design development, procurement, contractor coordination, weekly site visits, installation and final styling. Even the chicken coop was custom designed as part of the estate, ensuring every element felt intentional and connected to the overall vision.
